Interior design work developed by ID ITB student, Zulfikli Yuanata, were awarded a Gold Awards in the Interior Design category of Asian Young Designer Award 2017. His design, inspired by the Minangkabau traditional design resources, was selected from more than 500 entries and will take part in the Platinum Award of the regional Asia Young Designer Award. Besides, the jury also awarded “honorable mention” for other ID – ITB Student: Anita Carolina Chandra. The competition held by the Osaka-based paint manufacturer Nippon Paint was organized to be a platform to increase creativity, encourage talented young people to be brave in accepting challenges, creating innovative concepts and ready to collaborate and compete in national and international settings.
