“Enliven the Visual Elements of City of Design”

Summer School – Interior Design ITB

Bandung, 26 August – 1 September 2018

PLACESENSE 2.0 is an Academic Event organized by Interior Design Program – Institut Teknologi Bandung. This event will be held for 7 (seven) days in Bandung, a UNESCO Creative City of Design (Member of the UNESCO Creative City Network – UCCN).

Goal :

By exploring the potential of a public facility in bandung through various different dimension as part of the learning place for elementary and middle school students, the participants are expected to generate design enhancement of public space as a learning place.

Program :

PLACESENSE 2.0 goes into a vision for vibrant creative city elements that constitute ‘placemaking’, ‘place attachment’, and ‘place identity’. all topic related will be discussed and exercised through lecture series, design workshop and field survey using brainstorming, draw-storming, body-storming & model making.

Participants :

Participants are undergraduate and graduate students from various department including Interior Design, Industrial Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Urban and regional Planning, etc.

Fee & Payment :

USD 120

– Fee Include : Workshop Kit, T-Shirt, Field Trip, Gala Dinner, Certificate and Lunch & Snack during lecture & workshop.

– a 100% free waiver is available on a first come – first serve basis.

– All participants will earn 2 (two) academic credits.
