Chair Miniature Model-Making Workshop
A chair miniature model-making workshop has been delivered by a model maker specialist Mr. Mastori at Furniture Design III Course at Interior Design Study Program on Thursday, February 1, 2018. The workshop session was began with a demonstration of techniques to modifying small diameter of rattan core by means of a heater portable machine. The second session of the workshop, all students had practiced those techniques by themselves. The final session demonstrated a full process of making a rattan chair miniature of Yamakawa’s Batman Armchair and Jaime Hayon’s Frame Chair.
